NRS Pro Series Windmill Ranch Roper
NRS Pro Series Ranch Roper Western Saddle
Durability, toughness and style help define our NRS Ranch Roper. We consider a “Ranch” roper to be a saddle that is extremely tough for roping cattle in the pasture but is comfortable enough to ride in all day. One thing that makes a saddle more comfortable for all day is the ability for your feet to get in front of you. This allows you to sit back in the saddle which is more comfortable. A team roper is designed to keep your feet underneath your body so you don’t get rocked back into the saddle when trying to rope quick. However, the ranch roper is still a great saddle to arena rope out of also, but you just need to understand the difference. Most people really cowboying out of these saddles will ride a 15-1/2? or 16? saddle which allows them to sit back and get their feet in front of them. Most arena ropers who want this saddle will ride the 15? which will keep them pushed forward and “stood up” which helps keep their feet underneath them.
Each Ranch Roper is built on an association type tree with 8? tall swells, quarter horse bars (fits 85% of the average quarter horses), and has a 4? tall cantle which creates a deeper seat and is rigged in the full double position. Six sets of saddle strings, mulehide horn wrap (easily removed if you need rubber), full roughout seat, stainless hardware, 4? flank cinch, close contact cutaway skirts, varnished wood 3? bell stirrups are standard on both models. The Windmill Ranch Roper has a straight up bronc style cantle and is made from heavy Hermann Oak russet colored skirting leather and is stamped with a unique “windmill” stamp on the swells, cantle and the rear housing. There is a rope design border all around the saddle. All saddles come with latigo tie straps and the NRS contoured 6? flank cinch.
Whether you’re day working out west, arena roping, or competing at the WRCA finals you’ll love these NRS Pro Series Ranch Roper Saddle.
