Monkey Nose Tapadero
Widely used by real cowboys on ranches. Tapadero (or tap) is widely used in the southwest. Designed to protect rider's boots from mesquite and heavy brush. Keep feet warmer in northern climates. Prevents foot from getting caught in stirrup, particularly on childern's saddles. Built on 1 1/2" iron flat bottom oxbow stirrups.
